Take Action: Public Consultation on Environmental Noise

The EU commission has started an Online-Consultation on environmental noise which is open until 25^th september 2012. Organisations and private persons as well as public authorities have the opportunity to tell their opinion on whether or not European noise policy is efficient enough. There is no need to fill in the whole questionnaire, participants may choose the questions they want to answer.
What is interesting about this consultation? Speed reductions are quite effective instruments to reduce noise but they are not mentioned in the EU document. So, let´s start lobbying for speed reductions right now and take part in the consultation and tell them about what is missing.
